These manuals cover the following asset types and activities:

Asset types:

    Water wells

    Water pumping stations

    Water treatment plants

    Water distribution network

    Wastewater collection network

    Wastewater pumping stations

    Wastewater treatment plants.

Activities:

    Planning studies

    Design and review

    Construction/rehab/renovation/upgrading

    Construction supervision

    Testing, commissioning and handover

    Operations and maintenance.

Benefits

The manuals will enable GCWW staff to work to the best international standards in all activities and will provide an effective tool for training.
